Junior Strength & Conditioning Coach

We are seeking a motivated and certified Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our organization, recognized for its excellence in athletic development.

Under the mentorship of our Head of Athletic Development, the successful candidate will contribute to the creation and implementation of comprehensive training programs, leveraging innovative tools such as Trainerize for online programming.

Job Description:

Position: Junior Strength and Conditioning Coach

Location: Remote

Experience Level: Entry-Mid Level (1-3 years preferred)

Part-time/Full-time

As a Junior Strength and Conditioning coach, your main job will be to work under the Head of Athletic Development, and write programs for athletes as directed.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head of Athletic Development in creating and implementing strength and conditioning programs.
  • Conduct fitness assessments to evaluate athletes' strengths, weaknesses, and progress.
  • Utilize Trainerize for online programming and client management, ensuring personalized and effective workout plans.
  • Provide motivation and coaching to athletes to help them achieve their fitness goals.
  • Answer Athlete messages and questions in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and research in athletic development to ensure the highest quality of training.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Recognize injuries and limitations of certain athletes and be able to program effectively around them

Requirements:

  • Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification from a recognized organization.
  • Proficient in using Trainerize for online programming and client management.
  • 1-3 years of experience in strength and conditioning or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong commitment to professional growth and learning.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
  • Prior military/law enforcement service prefered, but not required.
